OMG, Rhonda! This episode was MARVELLOUS!!!! It flowed soooooooo nice! You're sounding really natural and relaxed now.
Like I told Brenda, I've held back myself talking about the SnB controversy on my blog...coz I think I might blow on it.
I had been hunting down Vogue Knitting here in Germany, but nobody has it. I don't want to subscribe through the net either. And I sooooo want to read about knitting podcasts in that issue!
Aren't you participating in the Knitting Olympics? I am...you can catch up on my projects on my blog....however I'm down with the flu at the moment...so not much knitting going on.
Another book that's good for beginners is: Knitting for Dummies. You should check it out.
Last thing, it's great with the music now! The sound quality's a lot better, too! Keep on going!

Hi Rhonda,
Just wanted to let you know that I love your show. You give us the kind of information that we'd normally have to wait for a magazine to give us, but much quicker (and no clutter!). I hope you keep broadcasting.
Thank you,
Kathy

I forgot to say that I also love your show notes with the links and pictures of everything you talk about - very helpful.

(blushing) Glad y'all like the show. I've been working on getting the sound quality better.
Also, this time I just turned on the mic and recorded the show, repeating stuff and editing, editing, editing.
Happy Knitting!

Hi! I listened to my first Podcast today! We just got a new mp3 player and I downloaded all your Newcasts! It was GREAT!!! I can't wait to hear the next one. I love being able to knit or fold clothes or whatever and listen to your Podcast!
Thank you, Rhonda! It's fun to hear from Texas. I wanted to tell you about a charity knitting project I'm participating in at work. I'm a librarian. My volunteers and I have have now knit about 35 of the 49 blocks needed. The site also has useful directions for the 7"x9" blocks. Here's a quote from their website:
Sanctuary® Stitchers Project from the Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services' web page-- scroll down till you find it on url below:
http://www.jbfcs.org/ucanhelp/volunteer/volunteer.htm
JBFCS Sanctuary® Stitchers knit or crochet squares which are assembled into beautiful handmade blankets for children living at JBFCS residences. These children have dealt with many tough life experiences. When we give a blanket, we are saying, "We honor you and you are important to us." Volunteer knitters range in age from 6 to 96. To date we have collected over 2200 squares and 30 blankets. Groups can be formed in a variety of settings such as schools, law firms, synagogues and other organizations or you can knit on your own.

I'm a better knitter than a techie. I first tried to leave a comment and ended up signing up for a blog somewhere in cyberspace. But the URL I made up does'nt exist.
Love your news and views, My challenge for the Olympics is to finish something (at least 10 W-I-P)
Pace yourself and don't burn out. I listen on the way to work and sometimes sit in the parking lot to finish a segment. 8~)

Rhonda,
During my hours of travel this weekend, I've been able to pretty much listen to all your episodes from start to finish. Things are so much better! Congrats and I look forward to many more 'casts!

Ah you are so sweet for asking. And no need to panic. I'm not having technical difficulties. I'm actually enjoying a 3 day weekend. Yeah!
And I have been knitting, knitting, doing laundry, knitting, knitting, reading e-mail, knitting, knitting, surfing the web, knitting, knitting, knitting.
The next episode will be coming out next Sunday, February 26th. For the time being I'm producing a podcast every other week. See you then.

Rhonda, I'm really enjoying your shows. You are so down-to-earth. I love listening to you -- it's just so relaxing. No pretenses. You just tell it like it is, good and bad!
Loved your brother's music, too.
Thanks for a great job!

Hi Rhonda, the sound quality is MUCH better. I think that it is sounding very crisp and clear. Thanks for continuing to come up with new shows. I really enjoy them. I was very excited to hear that your yarn review was the Ultra Silk. I really want to knit the Caftan Pullover from the new Interweave Knits and it calls for the Ultra Silk. Would it be possilbe for you to post a pic of your swatch? I haven't been able to buy a ball of it and would love to see how it knits up. Can't wait for your next episode! :)
I've already unraveled the swatch I made from the Ultra Silk but if you go to Berroco Ultra Silk Yarn and then select Preview patterns you can then zoom in on the detail of the patterns to see how the yarn knits up.
Rhonda, you are doing a great job. You have really come a long way and the sound levels are much better (I used to find you were quite soft in your earlier episodes). You sound so relaxed and...well, happy!... when you are podcasting.
AWESOME show, Rhonda! Your Berroco silk yarn sounds wonderful, and I loved your book reviews! I'm so glad you are podcasting -
-Bridget.
