Comments:
Rhonda, I love your podcast. Thanks for taking the time to do this. I hope you enjoy doing it as much as I enjoy listening to you.

I tried to find the picture of your Booga Bag for last episode. Where do I find it? I also made the booga bag, but I used Wool of the Andes from Knitpicks. I held 2 strands together and this made for a solid fabric and felted beautifully. There is a picture of that on my blog at scarletpurls.blogspot.com. I used a hairy eyelash in the upper portion that gives it a trendy look, but I think I would have chosen a shorter eyelash because the long eyelash gets caught on things and is annoying sometimes.

I see that you are making your tubey out of Wool of the Andes. I was hoping that you may choose to review this yarn. I love it so far and was curious to see what your opinion was.

Thanks and keep up the good work!

Rhonda,

Thanks for the review of Spun Magazine. I went to the site and loved it. It now has a place on my favorites.

Stacy,
Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad you are enjoying the podcast.

I actually got Andean Silk from Knit Picks for the Tubey pattern I'm doing. I'll have to order the Wool of the Andes for the next felting project I do.

Janis,
Glad you liked the review of Spun Magazine!

Hi Rhonda,

I found your pod cast when searching on ITunes.

I see that your third podcast had info about knitted teddy bears. I've been thinking that some of the wonderful novelty yarns would make great bears, but have been disappointed by the knitted look of most patterns I've seen.

Last week, blammo! I discovered a fantastic set of patterns for knitted bears (+ cats) that include felting. I bought all the patterns and can't wait to make them up. Take a look at: http://www.patriciawulff.com/index.php?cPath=24_31.

They have an online ordering system and the patterns come like the Fiber Trends patterns, printed on 8.5" x 11" sheets in a plastic holder.

I have been focusing on felted hats. Take a look at my blog at: http://www.livejournal.com/users/charisa_martin/

I also have a free pattern for a hat (non-felted or felted) titled "Folk Art for your Head".

Thanks for the podcasts! Keep up the good work!

Charisa,
Those felted bears are too cute! I like the cats and the bunnies too! Send me a link to the pictures of your completed ones when you get them up. I'd love to see them!

Love the felted hats. I'd love to do some of them but I worry that the felting would make them too small or too large.
