I'm sitting here listening to your latest cast (I've been listening to all of your casts today). Wow, you're getting better with each one! Although a bit more music would be great...because it gets pretty dry. Try alternating topics with some music like Brenda does. Just a suggestion.

BTW, your mentioning about men/guys listening to knitting podcast...well, I for one am a guy. And I listen to your cast, as well as Cast-On and Knit-Cast....and I also knit. Just check out my blog!

I actually was thinking whether I should also do a podcast on men who knit (me). But first, I'm a beginner (started in December '05), second, I hate the sound of my voice....so I think I'll leave the podcasting to other people. *LOL*

My brother had told me I can use some music he recorded with a friend in the 90's for my intro and wrap until he records some more for me. I'll be adding that on the next episode.

I love the idea of men oriented knitting podcast. Go for it!!! And if you need help getting started let me know.
 

Hey Rhonda! I'm really now considering about podcasting on knitting men....

First thing I'd have to do is to get a half way decent microphone. Coz I don't have that....and then read up on how to podcast and all. Then there's the music questions. *argh*

Hey Rhonda! I've listened to all of your podcasts so far, and they definitely get better with each one. There are several other knitting podcasts out there that I can't listen to, because they annoy me too much. If I could be so presumptuous as to suggest a few ideas.... More detail, less broad, and more opinion would be good too. Keep up the podcasting, and I'll keep on listening :) Oh, and talking about sock knitting too, if you're into it.

I have to echo the comments that the podcasts are getting better each episode. If you want to do a spot on sock knitting, don't forget to mention my Six Sox Knitalong which is hosted by Yahoo groups. 2,400 members and going strong! The next sock we knit will be a beaded sock, so you might be interested in that since you like beads.
